Music on the Mall - The Cumberlads
Aug 07, 2009Cumberland Mall invites the entire community to enjoy the delightful sounds of some of the area’s finest musicians at Music on the Mall.
A variety of ensembles from the Cumberland County College (CCC) Music Department perform live in the mall’s Center Court the first Friday of the month throughout the year.
Music on the Mall features CCC’s Jazz Band, Wind Symphony, Gospel Choir, and Chorus, as well as The Brass Consort Quintet and The Cumberlads, with a different group performing at each concert.
The Cumberlads were formed in June 2006 by two former Cherry Hill Pine Baron members and “Barbershoppers” Ron Vinick and Herb Williams. The two then teamed up with Gene Tubertini, Chairman of the Fine and Performing Arts Department in Millville for 36 years. The first meeting of The Cumberlads consisted of five singers and a director. Today, more than 25 members perform frequently for many local organizations and assisted living facilities.
The Music on the Mall program is a collaboration of the Cumberland County College Music Department and Cumberland Mall to provide the community with an ongoing series of light repertoire concerts showcasing local musical talent. The mall is pleased to present an exciting evening of wonderful entertainment for the entire family to enjoy.

Monday thru Saturday 10am to 9pm.
Sunday 11am to 6pm.
