Facility Technician

We are seeking a proactive and versatile full time Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team! Requirements

• Driver's License
• Heavy Lifting
• 2 Years of experience in general maintenance or repair work
• Background check is required

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general building upkeep
• Help with asphalt patching and repair, including lifting heavy bags of cold patch
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs and address them promptly
• Assist with installation of fixtures, appliances, and equipment as required for renovations or upgrades
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used
• Seasonal duties could include helping others with both salting and weeding
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities

Skills

• Proven hands-on experience in general maintenance or repair work across multiple trades
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to building maintenance
